Join us in an overnight adventure in the world of Ylva and Orm. At Sigfrid's farm you will get a taste of true Viking life with experiences, games and crafts. Choose between different activities like archery, visiting the smithy or working with wood.
Explore the expansive landscape, passing cattle pastures. Follow the long wooden bridge to the stream to take a cool refreshing bath. When you are hungry the wilderness guide will help you make a fire and cook food.
After a day full of exciting activities you make yourself at home in your cosy Viking house. The next morning will be full of new adventures.

At Sigrid's farm you will experience a large overnight adventure in a small scale. Crossing the threshold at VikingaTider you will leave the now behind and move back in time a 1000 years.
On our 25 hectares of verdant land we are recreating an authentic Viking world and offer knowledge and experiences beyond the normal.
As a visitor you will always have access to free parking around the clock. If you arrive by public transport it is easy to reach the museum and bus stops.
Do not forget to have a look at our museum shop. here you may discover treasures from near and far, like the Vikings did. Browse our souvenirs, jewellery, toys, exciting litterature and much more.
If you do not mind cheating in your time travel you could also visit our café. Here you will find popular modernities like cooling ice cream and steaming hot fresh coffee.
This is included
- A set of Viking clothing for each participant to borrow during your stay.
- Overnight stay at Sigrid's Viking farm in an authentic timbered house.
- Cook your food over an open fire. A food basket with breakfast and dinner is included. Your wilderness guide will teach you to make a fire the old way.
- Try out ancient crafts and activities. Together we will find something that interests you.
- Guided tour and free access to the whole nature area and our 1.5 km long hiking path.
